She's already got Hollywood in her pocket. Now she might be homeward bound and ready to kick up a storm in B'Town. According to the latest buzz on the grapevine, 'Slumdog' girl, Freida Pinto might play one of the leads in 'Dhoom 3'!
Though Aditya Chopra might approach the actress for his much awaited project, there seem to be concerns over whether the considerably simpler looking Freida can match glamour pusses like Katrina and Priyanka.
A filmmaker who deigns to reveal his identity recently told a tabloid, "The viewers have always seen Freida in subdued roles where she is playing the girl next door. Be it 'Slumdog Millionaire' or 'A Tall Dark Stranger'. Everybody has seen Freida in roles that are very realistic and down to earth. Freida also fits amazingly well into these kinds of roles. The big question now is how will Freida fit into a role that glam dolls like Katrina were being considered for."
While there's much hoopla surrounding the casting of the female lead in 'Dhoom 3', the details regarding the role haven't been revealed. "Freida is being considered for the much anticipated role but nobody has commented about the nature of the role yet. And as of now there is only buzz that Freida may do the role but one must remember that there is no official confirmation on this yet. Also we will have to wait and see what the role is and how big it is," says the source.
Well, even if she can't team up with baddie Aamir, there are chances that Freida could romance the most suave man in Hollywood, James Bond! Reports suggest that the 'Slumdog' actress is the bookies' favourite to become the next Bond Babe.
